The recession of 2009 severely affected the UK economy and had a major impact on the construction sector. Many companies went out of business whilst others went into survival mode. It wasn’t until 2013 that we saw the green shoots of recovery in the UK economy. Since then we have seen construction companies starting to invest again and making sure that systems can control costs and drive efficiency and growth.
